The challenge our traders designed

1680 traders told us what to fix. So we fixed it.

The Flex Challenge wasn't our idea, it was yours. In July, we surveyed our traders on what the next challenge should be, and this is the answer: the strongest 1-step challenge on the market.

  • 80%
You wanted more room to trade rated "more relaxed drawdown" as a top priority.
    You said

"Larger drawdown, giving me more room to trade." "Trailing drawdown to static drawdown."

    We did

8% max drawdown, fixed to your starting balance. It never trails your highs and never tightens. Same 8% as Speedy but static, not trailing.

  • 61%
You wanted the consistency rule gone named it the rule they dislike most.
    You said

"Get rid of the consistency rule." "I keep breaching it by accident."

    We did

Removed it completely. In its place, one clear max-risk cap, a control only 9% of you had any issue with.

  • 35%
You wanted faster payouts (but not everyone wanted to pay for them) ranked payout speed first among "what matters most."
    We did

Standard Flex pays at 30 days, then every 14. If speed matters more to you than price, the Fast Payout add-on brings your first payout to 14 days. The 90% split and weekend holding work the same way; optional upgrades for those who want them, not a built-in cost for everyone.

  • 69%
You'd rather pay more for better rules preferred a higher price with relaxed rules over cheaper and tougher.
    We did

For launch only, the price of Flex is less than Speedy! But only for a limited number of accounts. Fixed launch allocation, two accounts per trader per size, and your rules are frozen at purchase.

Why static is so important

8% either way. Only one of them stays put.

Speedy and Flex both start with 8% of drawdown room. The difference is what happens after you make money. Both examples use a $100,000 account.

Trailing

Speedy's 8% max drawdown trails your highest equity. Make money, and the breach line rises with you.

Speedy: your profits raise the breach line

Speedy's 8% max drawdown trails your highest equity. Every new high moves the breach line up behind you — the room you started with shrinks as you profit.

  • You start at $100,000
  • Climbs to $104,000
  • Later falls to $95,500
Speedy breach line moved from $92,000 → $96,000
$96,000 new line $100,000
Breached at $95,500.

You're only 4.5% down from your starting balance — but your $104K high moved the line up to $96,000, and the pullback crossed it.

The hidden cost of the trailing line:

at a $104K high, your line sits at $96,000 — only 4% below your starting balance, not 8%. The more you make, the less room you keep.

Static

Flex's 8% max drawdown is fixed at 8% from your starting balance. It never changes.

Flex: your breach line never moves

Flex's 8% max drawdown is set once at $92,000 — fixed to your starting balance, no matter how high your equity climbs.

  • You start at $100,000
  • Climbs to $104,000
  • Later falls to $95,500
Flex breach line still $92,000
$92,000 line — unchanged $100,000
Still trading at $95,500.

$3,500 of room left. The striped band is the room Speedy took away — and Flex didn't.

On Flex, that math never changes:

at $104K, $110K, or anywhere else, your line stays at $92,000. Your 8% is yours for the life of the account.

Flex vs Speedy

Same one-step route, same 10% target, same 8% max drawdown on day one. Flex costs more because of two things: the drawdown is static instead of trailing, and there is no consistency rule. For launch only, benefit from a discounted Flex price!

Every Flex rule, on one screen

The traders who read the rules are the ones who get paid. Here they all are. The two that replace the consistency rule (max risk and martingale) are defined with worked examples in the FAQ.

Max daily loss - 3%

The most your account can drop in a single day ($3,000 on $100K). Measured from your equity/balance at the start of the trading day. Resets daily.

Max drawdown - 8% static

Fixed at 8% below your starting balance ($92,000 on $100K). It never trails your equity and never tightens when you profit.

Profit target - 10%

One phase. Reach 10%, trade for at least 4 days, close your positions, and you're funded. No time limit.

Consistency rule - none

There isn't one. Your best day can be your best day. The max-risk cap and no-martingale rule do the job instead - while you trade, not at payout.

Max risk cap - 3% · no martingale

Combined risk per asset can't exceed 3% of the starting balance, and you can't size up to chase a loss. Exact definitions with passes/breaches examples are in the FAQ.

News trading - allowed

One house rule: profits from trades opened within 5 minutes either side of a red-folder event are removed. Weekend holding is an optional add-on.

Payouts - 30 days, then every 14

First request 30 days after your first funded trade (14 with the Fast Payout add-on) and after 4 profitable days of at least 0.25% realised profit each, then every 14 days, positions closed. 80% split, or 90% with the add-on. No payout cap.

Inactivity - 10 days

Place at least one trade every 10 days on the challenge and the funded account. Your dashboard shows days remaining.

  • Breach alerts by email, the moment it happens

You get an email with the rule, the trade and the number. Never discovered at payout.

  • Rule meters on your dashboard

Drawdown headroom, daily loss used, open risk against the cap, min-day progress.

  • Rules frozen at purchase

The rules on your account are the rules the day you bought it. Changes apply to new purchases only.

Questions, answered

The questions you've been sending us about Flex, answered straight.

A one-step trading challenge with a 10% profit target, a 3% daily loss limit, an 8% static maximum drawdown and no consistency rule. In place of the consistency rule it uses a 3% max-risk cap and a no-martingale rule, both defined with worked examples below. It was built from a July 2026 survey of 1680 Traderscale traders - the two changes are the two things they asked for most.

A 3% max-risk cap plus a no-martingale rule. When we asked which rule you disliked most, consistency came top (61%) and max risk came bottom (9%) - so we kept the one you mind least. Both are enforced while you trade, rather than being sprung on you at payout. Full definitions and examples are further down this FAQ.

30 days after your first trade on the funded account - and once you have 4 profitable days with at least 0.25% realised profit each - then every 14 days, with positions closed at the time of request. The Fast Payout add-on brings the first one forward to 14 days. Payouts settle on-chain - USDT on Ethereum or via Riseworks on Arbitrum. The split is 80% as standard, or 90% with the Profit Split add-on. No payout cap.

Each Flex size is released at launch pricing in a fixed number of accounts, and the number is updated as accounts are sold. When a size reaches zero it closes at this price until the next release. To keep it fair, each trader can buy a maximum of two Flex accounts per size. Accounts bought at launch keep their rules and price - that's the rules freeze.

Three, all optional at checkout: Fast Payout (first payout at 14 days instead of 30), 90% Profit Split (instead of the standard 80%), and Weekend Holding. None of them touch the trading rules - drawdown, target, risk cap and martingale rule are identical with or without them.

No. Existing accounts keep the rules you bought them under. Flex is a new option, not a replacement - run it alongside if you like.

Your max drawdown line is fixed at 8% below your starting balance - $92,000 on a $100K account - and never moves. It doesn't trail your equity high, and it doesn't tighten as you profit. The 3% daily limit is measured from your equity/balance at the start of each trading day and resets daily.

In one line: on any one symbol, every position cannot exceed 3% of your starting balance. Set a stop on everything and keep each symbol's total under 3%.

How we measure it. Risk on a position = distance from entry to stop-loss × the value of that distance for your size. It's summed per symbol - every open position on the same instrument counts together, and each instrument is measured on its own meter. On a $100K account that's $3,000 per symbol. Every position must carry a stop-loss; one opened without a stop is measured at the full 3% for that symbol until a stop is set. Trailing a stop to break-even or better reduces that position's risk to zero and frees room on that symbol. Hedged positions on the same instrument are measured net.

Passes$100K account. Two gold trades open: XAU/USD risking $1,200 and a second XAU/USD risking $900. Total $2,100 on that symbol - your XAU/USD meter reads 2.1% / 3%.
PassesXAU/USD at $2,700. You trail the older position to break-even - its risk drops to $0, gold falls to $1,500, and you have $1,500 of headroom to add on that symbol again.
BreachesXAU/USD already at $2,200. You add a third gold trade risking $1,000. Total $3,200 (3.2%) on one symbol - that order goes over the cap.
BreachesYou open 2 lots GBP/USD with no stop and leave it. With no stop it counts as the whole 3% for GBP/USD, so any second GBP/USD position is a breach until you set one.

Positions on different symbols have separate meters. EUR/USD at 2.8% and GBP/JPY at 2.6% both pass - the cap is per instrument, not per account. Your 3% daily loss limit and 8% static drawdown still apply across everything, and in practice those are what bind first if you're running several symbols hot at once.

What happens. On the challenge, an order that would breach is rejected where the platform allows it, or flagged where it doesn't. On the funded account: first breach closes the account.

In one line: don't size up to chase a loss. Adds into a winning position, and normal-sized next trades after a loss, are fine.

Three specific patterns. (1) Averaging down with size: adding to a losing position with a new entry larger than the previous one, same instrument and direction. (2) Loss-recovery sizing: after a losing trade closes, opening the next trade on the same instrument and direction with increased risk and volume, within the same or next trading day. (3) Grids: a ladder of orders in the same direction that increases in size as price moves against you. Equal or smaller adds into a position at break-even or in profit are allowed. Losing three trades in a row at the same size is not martingale; it's just trading.

PassesShort GBP/USD 1 lot risking $800. It's in profit; you add 0.5 lots and trail both stops. Smaller add, position in profit - fine.
PassesYou lose $600 on EUR/USD. Two hours later a fresh setup appears and you take it risking $600.
BreachesBuy XAU/USD 0.5 lots. It drops; you buy 1 lot lower. It drops; you buy 2 lots. Each add larger into a losing position - textbook martingale.
BreachesLose $500 on US30 long, immediately re-enter long risking $1,500 (3× the loss). Loss-recovery sizing, same instrument, same day.

What happens. A flag lists the specific trades so you can see what tripped it. Same escalation as the risk cap. If you think we've got it wrong, reply to the alert email - a human reviews every martingale flag before any payout is affected. The risk cap still applies on top: even a permitted add has to fit inside 3%.

Our standard refund policy applies to unused accounts - see the Refund Policy linked in the footer. Once you've placed a trade, the account is active and the fee stands.
