Is your prop firm eating your profits?
Upload a screenshot of your prop firm’s prices. We’ll show what the same trades cost on a Traderscale account, and where your firm ranks against 9 others.
This takes about 20 seconds.
Screenshot reading isn’t available here, so type your prices instead. It takes a minute.
Example Your Quotes or Market Watch screen MT5, MT4, cTrader, Match-Trader or DXtrade all work. Make sure the markets you trade are showing.
We only need the prices. We don’t need your account number, login details, balance or anything like that. The image isn’t stored.
How do I take a screenshot?

- iPhone press the side button and volume up
- Android press power and volume down
- Windows press Win + Shift + S, then drag around Market Watch
- Mac press Cmd + Shift + 4, then drag around Market Watch
Why spreads change, and how we compared fairly
A spread isn’t a fixed number. It widens and narrows with market conditions: it’s tightest when London and New York overlap and liquidity is deep, wider in the Asian session and around the daily rollover, and it can jump several times over for a few seconds around news releases or when markets open on a Sunday night. The same firm can show 0.1 pips at 3pm and 1.5 pips at 11pm on the same pair.
That’s why comparing a spread you saw on Monday morning with one a friend saw on Friday night tells you nothing about which firm is cheaper. So we did it the only fair way: we bought an account at every firm, logged into all of them at once and screenshotted each quote screen within minutes of each other, in the same European session on 16 October 2026. Where a quote moved between snapshots we show the range, not the best print. Then we added each firm’s published commission, because a raw spread with a $10 fee behind it isn’t a tight spread.
Your own screenshot is the same idea: it tells us what you were paying at that moment. For the fairest result, take it during normal London or New York hours, away from news, and the comparison will be like for like.

You can compare up to 5 markets.
What prices do you see?
Copy the bid and ask for each market from your platform. Take a screenshot first so the prices hold still.
Who are you trading with?
Pick every firm you hold an account with. The first one you tap is used for your main numbers.
We’ll fill in your firm’s published commission for you.
How many lots do you trade a month?
Add up the size of every trade you place in a month. A rough guess is fine.
For example
- 10 trades of 0.10 lots= 1 lot
- 2 trades of 0.50 lots= 1 lot
- 20 trades of 0.50 lots= 10 lots
Count each trade once, not once to open and again to close.
Add your lots for at least one market.
Do you pay a commission?
Any closed trade in your platform’s history shows it. Watch for this one: some firms advertise raw or 0.0 spreads, then charge $5–10 per lot in commission, which is 0.5–1.0 pip on a major. The headline spread isn’t the cost; spread plus commission is.
If your firm quotes it per side, double it. Applied to FX, gold and oil; indices are usually commission-free.

A spread gap is tens of dollars a month. A profit-split gap is hundreds. See it on your own numbers.
What you can’t trade there
Don’t keep all your funding in one place
Sharp firms change rules too. A second account is insurance.
- Instant Funding skips the evaluation: trade a funded account from day one.
- No time limit on evaluations, and no commission on any market.
- Payouts within 24 hours, up to 90% yours, $5.5m+ paid to 27,000+ traders.
- From $97 for a $10K 2-Step Pro: less than most traders lose to one bad spread week.
All-in means spread plus commission. A firm that shows raw or 0.0 spreads but charges a per-lot commission is ranked on what you actually pay, not the headline. Spreads move with market conditions, which is why every firm was captured in the same session within minutes of each other; your own quote may be from a quieter or busier time. Independent snapshot by Traderscale, not verified or endorsed by the firms named. Spreads and fees change daily and differ by account type, server and session; check current pricing with each firm before deciding.

How we compared. Spreads change with market conditions: they are tightest in the London–New York overlap, wider in the Asian session and at rollover, and can widen many times over for a few seconds around news. A comparison is only fair if every firm is measured at the same moment, so ten funded-account challenges were bought and each platform’s quote screen was captured in the same European session on 16 Oct 2026, within minutes of each other, several snapshots per firm; where a quote moved we show the range. All-in cost is the spread plus each firm’s published commission, because a headline spread on its own can mislead: some firms advertise raw or 0.0 spreads and then charge $5–10 per lot in commission, which is 0.5–1.0 pip on a major, so a “tighter” spread can cost more once the fee is added. Your own spread is read from your screenshot or typed bid and ask; costs use standard lot sizes and reference prices to convert non-USD markets. Spreads move, so treat this as an estimate.
Risk warning. Trading derivatives carries a high level of risk to your capital and should only be undertaken with funds you can afford to lose. Traderscale challenges are demo evaluations; passing one gives access to a funded account under the terms and conditions.
